10/28/2010 - Rec Basketball is Back for the 2010-2011 Season!
LSYS Basketball begins in early December and will run through mid February for grades Kindegarten through 6th. The league is co-ed with practices and at least a six game season with a tournament at the end for the older kids. Games and practices will be held in the gym at Lake Spokane Elementary. Games will primarily be held on Saturdays.
Registration begins Monday, November 1st and closes on November 19th. There will be a drop-in registration events on November 6th at the craft fairs and again on November 19th at the Suncrest Pizza Factory from 5pm till 7pm.
The cost is $35 for one or $70 for a family (2 or more).
Players will need to have a registration and concussion form filled out to play. These forms will be available at the drop-in registration events, Lake Spokane Elementary, Nine Mile Elementary, Lakeside Middle School as well as being given to all K-6th grades to bring home. These forms are also available for download from this site on the registration page.
For adults that want to volunteer to coach, a volunteer form and/or background check form will need to be filled out as well and will be available for download from this site soon.
Registration and concussion forms can either be dropped off at the drop-in events or mailed to:
